The Ink Business Preferred earns Ultimate Rewards points at the following rates:
- 5 points per $1 spent on Lyft rides through March 2025.
- 3 points per $1 spent on shipping, advertising with social media sites and search engines, internet, cable and phone services, and travel, on up to the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases across these categories (then 1X).
- 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

Ink Business Preferred points transfer
Ink Business Points can be moved freely between Chase-branded credit cards attached to your account at a 1:1 rate. This includes the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card as well as most of Chase's cash back credit cards.
This means you can mix and match personal and business credit cards to maximize your rewards and point values towards travel.
Ink Business Preferred fees
Annual Fee
The Ink Business Preferred Card has an annual fee of $95.
If you or your business spends heavy across the 3X categories offered on this card, the value of the points earned will pay for itself — especially if you plan on transferring your points to Chase's airline and hotel partners.
Authorized User Fee
There is no fee to add authorized users to the Ink Business Preferred Card. Adding employees as authorized users can help build points faster.
Foreign Transaction Fee
The Ink Business Preferred Card has a 0% foreign transaction fee. This makes it a solid choice for earning points on international spending and travel.

Currency Codes

Do note that any foreign currencies selected will automatically be converted to the card's default currency when calculating rewards.
Currency Name
Add Status / Loyalty
You can add elite status to one or more columns. This allows you to calculate the extra points you would receive from having status with that program.
If the status is already added, you can update the currency the status is based on by specifying a different currency than what the one in the calculator already has.
NOTE: Elite status is automatically added to the calculator for most credit cards that grant it.
