The value of the benefits this card offers will far exceeds the annual fee if you can make use of them. You should be able to squeeze high value out of the Companion Certificate alone.
Authorized User Fee
There is no fee to add authorized users to the Amtrak Guest Rewards Preferred Mastercard.
Foreign Transaction Fee
The Amtrak Guest Rewards Preferred Mastercard has a 0% foreign transaction fee. This means you can use the card outside of the United States and not be penalized.
