The AMEX Aeroplan Business Reserve Card earns Aeroplan points at the following rates:

  • 3 points per $1 spent on eligible direct purchases with Air Canada® and Air Canada Vacations®.
  • 2 points per $1 spent on eligible hotel and car rentals in Canada.
  • 1.25 points per $1 spent on everything else.

Fees

Annual Fee

The AMEX Aeroplan Business Reserve Card has a $599 annual fee.

Authorized User Fee

Adding additional Business Reserve Cards will cost you $199 per card. No fee cards can also be added to the account, but they will not offer any benefits outside of the ability to earn points.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The American Express Business Reserve Card has a 2.5% foreign transaction fee. This means you will be penalized when using this card to make purchases in a currency other than Canadian dollars.
