American Express Membership Rewards points can be transferred directly to Hilton Honors at a 1:1 ratio. This means that every 1,000 AMEX Points you transfer will give you 1,000 Hilton Honors Points.
This is the best way to quickly earn Hilton Honors points via intro bonuses and everyday spending since Hilton does not offer any co-branded credit cards in Canada. Just note that Membership Rewards points can be worth as much as 2 cents per point when redeemed for airfare, so transferring points to Hilton will more than likely result in a devaluation.
