Currency Codes
Any currencies you add to the tool will be selectable when entering spend into the Spend Categories section of the calculator.
Do note that any foreign currencies selected will automatically be converted to the card's default currency when calculating rewards.
Currency Name
Add Status / Loyalty
You can add elite status to one or more columns. This allows you to calculate the extra points you would receive from having status with that program.
If the status is already added, you can update the currency the status is based on by specifying a different currency than what the one in the calculator already has.
NOTE: Elite status is automatically added to the calculator for most credit cards that grant it.

- 1 Avion Premium point for every $1 spent on all other purchases.

Transfer Partners & Conversion Calculator
Points earned with the RBC ION Visa cannot be transferred to RBC's transfer partners and they cannot be redeemed for high value towards airfare using the Air Travel Redemption Schedule.
Luckily, Avion Premium points earned with the ION Visa can be transferred to Avion credit cards that earn Avion Elite points which will allow you to redeem your weaker points for much higher value.

The RBC ION Visa Card has a $0 annual fee.
Authorized User Fee
There is no fee to add authorized users to the RBC ION Visa Card.
Foreign Transaction Fee
The RBC ION Visa Card has a foreign transaction fee of 2.5%. This means you will be penalized when using the card to make purchases that are not in Canadian Dollars.
