Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Card Points Calculator

Currency Codes
Any currencies you add to the tool will be selectable when entering spend into the Spend Categories section of the calculator.
Do note that any foreign currencies selected will automatically be converted to the card's default currency when calculating rewards.
Currency Name
Add Status / Loyalty
You can add elite status to one or more columns. This allows you to calculate the extra points you would receive from having status with that program.
If the status is already added, you can update the currency the status is based on by specifying a different currency than what the one in the calculator already has.
NOTE: Elite status is automatically added to the calculator for most credit cards that grant it.

Do note that the order of the categories in the Category Spending section makes a difference. Spend is calculate by month in order of categories listed.

Earning Rates
The Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card earns Virgin Atlantic points at the following rates:
- 3 Virgin points for every £1 you spend with Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays
- 1.5 Virgin Points for every £1 you spend on everyday card purchases
The points you can earn each month are capped based on your credit limit.
If your credit limit is £5,000, you'll earn points on the first £5,000 of card purchases in a month. If you spend more than that, then you won't earn points on any additional spending.
The counter is reset every month on the date of your credit card statement.

Non-sterling Purchase Fee
The Virgin Atlantic Reward Credit Card has a non-sterling purchase fee of 2.99%. This means that you will be penalized when using this card to make purchases that are not in Pound sterling.
